Montessori
In a carefully prepared Montessori environment (classroom), there are many materials and exercises, from which the child chooses the ones he wants to work with. She can work alone or with other children, she also usually makes this choice independently. The teacher is not an authoritarian person, he only helps the child to organize his activities. The classes include the following areas: real life, sensory development, mental development of the child and movement.
The meaning of the Montessori method is self-education, self-learning and self-development of the child. The teacher helps her in this. This principle can be formulated with the famous words of Maria Montessori: "Help me do it myself."
The Montessori method is a scientifically based approach to education that promotes the harmonious development of a child, taking into account its natural properties and taking into account the individual pace of each child.
It was developed by the Italian doctor and teacher Maria Montessori (1870-1952).
With the help of the Montessori method, the child develops logical thinking, attention, creative abilities, memory, imagination, fine and gross motor skills, helps to master communication skills, as well as elements of everyday activities that contribute to the development of independence.
