Meeting with Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk
In January, Vdoma along with other Ukrainian associations had an opportunity to meet with Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva.
During the meeting, Iryna Vereshchuk showed interest in the projects carried out by Ukrainian associations, discussed the challenges they encounter, and explored potential ways in which the Ukrainian government could assist in resolving these issues. Conversation topics included the banking system, money transfers from Switzerland to Ukraine, collaboration on humanitarian matters, and the preservation of cultural and linguistic connections.
This meeting marks a significant advancement in supporting Ukrainian citizens and promoting collaboration between Switzerland and Ukraine. We appreciate the opportunity to engage in this important discussion and to continue working in the best interest of our country.
